Arno Gisinger

Born 1964 in Dornbirn (Austria), Arno Gisinger is a photo-based artist who lives and works in Paris. He studied literature and contemporary history at the University of Innsbruck (A) and photography at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles (F). He teaches photography at the University Paris 8 (UFR Art, esthétique et philosophie). Gisinger’s work is dealing with history, memory, migration and language. He is actually working on a project on Stefan Zweig in Brazil.
